I was worried leaving my plants on vacation. I aggressively watered them and fitted them with ceramic siphons before I left though.
When I got back they actually looked great. I had a few things to prune but I think the cool/windy SF temps kept them alive, if a bit overwatered.

My mini greenhouse :)
Strawberries, thyme, many happy little tomatoes, mint, green beans, rosemary. It’s a bit crowded down there but a bit too windy and chilly at night for some of them to be planted outside of the greenhouse.
Yeah! I built that thing all by myself too!
You can’t see it but there’s a random scarlet runner bean that regrew from last year too. It’s a very curious plant.

So it turns out you can regrow celery from the stump. It is doing so well!!! Can’t wait to try this with more. I bet lettuce does it and other greens too!

I want a house with a garden someday - were I can grow veggies, get dirty and raise some goats. That needs to happen, I think.
Look at my basil! Good thing I researched that seed starter mix. It took a little while but these plants are bouncing back oh-so nicely. The second cup has the formerly-puny grape tomatoes you saw last time. They’re still a bit stunted but growing at least.
The third cup has the stunted heirloom tomato which is finally catching up to the originals (not in the seed starter).
You can even see my hand-made greenhouse through the window.
